I am a first-generation graduate at Washington State University (WSU), with a major in Biology and a minor in Anthropology. My career aspects are to be involved with forensics, mortuary science, and crime scene analytics.I am a diligent, hardworking student with an employment history of 5+ years, career-oriented coursework, and incorporated criminal justice research (IRB-certified) to prioritize my future career goals in forensics. While acquiring my Associate of Arts in 2019, I was recognized by the Dean’s list multiple times and have maintained a GPA of above 3.0 while working part-time throughout my WSU academic career. My relevant coursework includes Gross & Microanatomy (osteology and hands-on learning with cadavers were part of the academia), Forensic Anthropology (applied osteology and decomposition knowledge), Archaeology Methods & Interpretation, Anthropology of Epidemic Disease, and Biochemistry. Additionally, through my prior Chemistry & Biology series, I have become familiar with databases like PEACAAN and the Actinobacteriophage Database. I have participated in multiple research presentations, and have been awarded and recognized for my contributions.Beyond my academic knowledge, my past employment experience displays a consistent history of working both independently and as a successful team. In previous positions, I have exceeded expectations by reviewing and processing medical documents, determining eligibility, and efficiently detecting fraud with supporting evidence.
