I am in charge of all editorial content for Fresh Cup, an industry trade publication serving that aims to push the coffee industry forward.

I host, produce, and edit Boss Barista, a podcast that examines the coffee industry through a feminist lens. We tackle issues of discrimination and marginalization through a varied platform that includes interviews, breaking news, and discussion-style episodes. We have over 12,000 monthly subscribes, have been asked to speak at industry events, and have produced over 90 episodes. We were awarded "Best Podcast" by the Sprudge Media Network.

I wrote over 400 articles for Barista Magazine, where I was also the online editor. I worked with a team of writers to produce daily content, pitch and edit stories, and schedule articles. I oversee two locations of The Cro Cafe. I am in charge of training, scheduling, and ordering materials for both cafes, and have been charged with development and implementation of strategies to increase business, boost employee morale, and ensure that customers receive the same high standard of service and product throughout both stores.

I am in charge of training retail staff and over 50 of our wholesale partners. I am the first point of contact for wholesale clients, and am charged with maintaining and strengthening our relationships with our partners. I troubleshoot all coffee and equipment concerns, and provide support and guidance to cafe shop owners and baristas on how to best serve Sightglass coffee.

I helped launched the wholesale department at Variety Coffee Roasters. I was in charge of all training and education for our retail staff and wholesale partners, and ran quality control checks alongside the head roaster. Together, we developed roast profiles, created brewing parameters, and wrote tasting notes for all of our coffees.

Greater New York City Area

I managed the second branch of Third Rail Coffee in the East Village. I was in charge of hiring, training, ordering, and general shop maintenance. I served as the liaison for the cafe and local business partners, and also served as an advocate for baristas to the owners of the shop. Essentially, I was in charge of all day-to-day operations, and entrusted with developing ideas and projects to increase name recognition and coffee sales.
