My name is Ashley, and I have a fair amount of experience within the healthcare industry. From 2013- early 2014 i worked as a healthcare learning assistant in an asd school, helping and encouraging young austic children to learn. In mid 2014 I then went on to do an Associate's degree in psychology- whilst working part-time as a healthcare assistant in general psychiatric hospital for adolescents. In 2016, I finished my degree and became full-time at the same job. During this time frame, I was recognised by my seniors as resilient, passionate and hard-working and consequently offered the job of senior healthcare assistant which I gratefully accepted. This job included extra responsibilities such as organising staff, shifts, shift planners and more frequent observations/checkups. I then asked to get transferred to the ASD ward of the same hospital, as I continued my role as Senior healthcare assistant. In december 2019, I applied for a new job as a support worker in a adolescents mental health PICU. This is my current job.
