Dr. Ashley Castro, Ph.D is co-founder and Executive Director of Healwise (fka Therapy4thePeople), a nonprofit dedicated to creating a more accessible, affordable mental healthcare system.As a Latina born and raised in the Bronx, Dr. Castro is dedicated to eliminating mental health inequities through innovation and entrepreneurship. She earned her PhD in Clinical Child Psychology from DePaul University in 2021 and was a staff psychologist at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in the Integrated Pediatric Primary Care Program.
