Serves as the initial internal and external point of contact for individuals calling and visiting the Office of the Director and administratively supports other staff members within the office.Maintains the supervisor's calendar and independently schedules appointments, training sessions, and conferences. Brief key individuals within or outside the organization to ensure that they are prepared to participate in meetings.Serves as liaison between the supervisor and individuals within the organization. Researches and provides background on the subject matter of meetings and conferences. Then researched other Federal policies and programs to identify gaps and opportunities to implement new programs and policies to support the balance of career and family for all employees.Supported the facilitation of two focus groups to learn more about the current female FAM workforce and identify opportunities to enhance the LE/FAMs recruitment strategy and workforce support programs to further support the retention of qualified law enforcement personnel. Analyzing the feedback and information to identify recommendations and finalize the findings report for leadership approval.
