Our platform empowers financial institutions and corporations to finance building decarbonization projects in exchange for certified carbon credits. Recently, Ontoly was a finalist in the Climate Safe Lending Network’s Climate Finance Catalyst Contest.I founded Ontoly Carbon with the vision of mobilizing finance to decarbonize buildings at scale. Given that 26% of energy-related emissions originate from buildings, I believe the buildings sector represents the most overlooked opportunity for substantial global emissions reductions.*With 10 years of experience in climate change policy and standards setting, I have drafted climate change legislation for two provincial governments in Canada and led the development of high-integrity voluntary carbon market program updates for Verra.
