As a Junior Multimedia designer for the C.A.F.E. at Durham College, I was given the opportunity to create material for both teachers and affiliates of the school. I was employed by Durham Radio Inc. (KX96 FM, 94.9 The Rock, 107.7 CKDO) for just over three years before deciding to return back to school. During my time at the group of radio stations, I filled the role of Assistant to the VP of Sales and Marketing for the first year, as a Sales Representative for a year during a maternity leave, and as a graphic designer and coordinator for promotions and sales departments for the duration of my employment. I completed my advertising internship at Leo Burnett, a world renown advertising agency in Toronto, ON. I prominently worked in the Project Management department, but was also given the opportunity to join creative design brainstorming meetings, attend client-based project pitches, as well as invited to be on the set for the filming of Gain Laundry detergent and Zellers commercials.
