Director, Investment Proposals
Current–Supervise the responsibilities and tasks of the Investment Proposal Team (located in Minneapolis, Boston and Seattle). –Proactively ensure team is addressing all assigned Requests for Proposals/Information (RFP/RFI) and similar sales due diligence requests and completion all corresponding documentation. Monitor the work of team, including verifying accuracy of content within deliverables, responses entered into Qvidian, and information conveyed in emails.–Coordinate with other departments across the firm to maintain the RFP content database to ensure all information is accurate and current.–Track RFP progress and provide accurate matrices necessary to produce RFP activity reports.–Collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.–Oversee assigned projects/initiatives to ensure quality, proper execution, and timely completion.–Build upon and improve current processes and procedures.–Maintain inter-department relations by ensuring commitments to other teams are met in a timely manner.–Oversight of the maintenance of consultant and third-party databases to ensure that they are populated accurately and on-time through an external service provider (eVestment Omni). –Develop, train, coach and educate existing and new staff members.–Manage staff in their development of strong working knowledge of the firm's structure, key personnel, organizational policies and procedures, and investment/product knowledge.–Develop strong relationships with internal subject matter experts, including product management, sales, client relations, and investment professionals, to facilitate collaboration across teams to understand client needs to create customized RFP responses that highlight the firm’s strategic and competitive advantage.–Review materials and oversee routing of material to required reviewers, including regulatory compliance and legal.– Oversee the compilation of data for deliverables and participate in reporting process as needed.
