 Responsible for monitoring state filing requirements for assigned states; documenting these requirements in the State Filing Manual; and communicate to all team members/management any state specific trends that relate to the filing issues impacting respective job functions. Research and complete transmittal forms and/or checklists for filing by mastering insurance software designed for this purpose; and reviewing insurance department websites and regulatory bulletins and other sources of information.  Responsible for meeting filing target dates, objection due dates, timely follow up with client and/or subcontractors to ensure dates are met. Request extensions from the DOI if needed. Compile information by coordinating filing status with consultants, clients and insurance departments; maintaining client product files; maintaining status reports.  Organize and maintain product files. Making sure that all necessary documentation is contained within the appropriate file. The folder should be in proper order at all times from initial submission, objection, and resubmission through final approval or disposition of the filing, to ensure timely turnaround of the hard copy folders to clients.
