Partnership with Managing doctor to lead best patient experience, team member experience and achieving financial expectations.Responsible for all Insurance verification (Medical & Vision) for all patients scheduledUnderstands Insurance Eligibility including copays, deductibles, and allowance costs.Manages appointment scheduling for 6 doctors, including filling open time slots, preparing patient files and completing the scanning/fax/emails duties.Responsible for managing the Team Member schedule, including review and approval of Team Member time off requests.Drives Team Members to improve patient journey resulting in increased revenue, increasing productivity and reducing practice expenses.EMR/EHR Conversion and Implementation to updated software in April 2021.

Administrative duties including answering telephones, scheduling patient appointments per doctor preferences and transcribing messages for return calls and faxes.Obtain and verify insurance eligibility for all applicable patients. Responsible for auditing and editing insurance claims as needed.Implementing EMR/EHR and new practice management system in Spring 2015. Scanning and entering routing slips and other documents into EHRConfirm all appointments for the following day and reschedule no show appointments. Also utilize practice’s recall system.Pull and prepare charts for all patients scheduled for the following day.Processing sales of contact lens through phone calls or doctor transitions.
