Over the years, I have championed initiatives in HOPI, I&D, safety, engineering, construction, operations, human resources, and process improvements in high-growth companies. I have secured buy-in from C-suite members, senior leaders, employees at different levels, and third parties, often bridging stakeholder groups by translating highly technical language as an engineer into easy-to-understand terms as a people leader. My problem-solving mindset allows me to identify missed opportunities and what’s not working in order to revamp business and operational processes that enhance overall productivity without compromising safety and quality. Examples of my recent career highlights include: ► Reduced overspend by 150% in capital and maintenance budgets with precise forecasting & resource allocation. ► Spearheaded an inclusive organizational culture and diverse workforce to boost employee engagement and performance by embedding I&D best practices into all day-to-day operations and fostering a psychologically safe environment for all groups. ► Received an appointment to ITC Holdings’ ESG Steering Committee, which primarily comprises C-level and senior leaders. ► Mobilized senior leadership support to formulate vision, strategy, processes, infrastructure, and KPIs for HOPI and Safety. I am an alumni board member for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Sense of Belonging at Michigan Technological University, former member of the Michigan Board of Directors of the National Diversity Council, and the vice president of the board of Rebuilding Together Southeast Michigan. I have a master’s degree in engineering management from Oakland University & a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University. I earned the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations’ Human Performance certification and Diversity First’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Inclusive Leadership certifications.
