I had initially started freelance Journalism/writing in 2012 for the Bertie Ledger- Advance in Windsor, NC. In 2021, I had revamped my talents with the Greenville Magazine in association with the Daily Reflector newspaper in Greenville, NC.In the opening of 2022, I had started my own media column entitled A&M Access: Aspiration & Media. I wanted to construct a website where I was able to gather my own stories and media based on individuals that are making an impact in their communities with their aspirations, careers and goals. The website is still under construction and I am still gathering interviews as we speak. To this day, I am currently still on call for freelance work for The Daily Reflector, working on my A&M Access website, former Content Writer for Techzillo, LTD, and now Managing Editor & Lead Journalist for Yarah Magazine. While developing a career in the media, I am study for a Bachelors in Communications and Media Studies via Post University. Currently, I am a self-published author of an African-American drama anthology series entitled "The Chronicle of Confessions" and working on a memoir for publication. There are three installments of the book written along with an extension into the horror genre. I do my own editing as well as my own proofing of my work. Being an author, I have developed the knowledge of how to format, edit and proof any form of writing in large and acute formats along with utilizing majority of the features for Microsoft Word. While being a freelance journalist and writer, I am proficient with meeting deadlines and submitting work in a timely manner for production. And based on topics I am given, I am open to providing input and ideas based on topics to enhance the characteristic of the article I am writing. In this line of work, it is important to have your voice heard so others within the company can feed off of those ideas to create a domino effect that will spiral into other brilliant ideas.
