I started my journey as a swim coach as a Junior Assistant Coach while I was still swimming on the team. The majority of my work occurred six days a week during the months of May through August. Throughout the school year I continued to coach for the team's winter swim program once a week. During the winter, I was in charge of teaching the children ages 4-6 developmental skills in swimming. For the summer of 2019, I was hired back as an Assistant Coach. During this time I was in charge of the youngest group of swimmers which consisted of children 8 years old and under. Each day I was in charge of watching over the children and creating workouts for them to do while also supervising the Junior Assistant Coaches. My weekly duties also included leading the children at swim meets on the weekends and entering the children into events for the upcoming meets.
