I taught myself the basics of Adobe Illustrator in 2020 (when us non-essential workers were making 11 loaves of banana bread a day), and began drawing portraits of friends and family. I’d wrap up my 9-5 at my dining room table and get right to work, sourcing free online classes and tackling the Adobe Pen Tool. After a few commissions later from some *very* generous loved ones, my wheels started turning, thinking of ways I could use this newfound skill to share my love for local businesses. I created an Instagram and began networking my little heart out, offering custom prints and doodles to some spots in and around my local area. Fast forward a few months, and I was able to secure quite a few one-off projects (which still feel like *pinch me* moments). As I doodled away on my iPad, I found myself being very inspired by each client's “why” and passion for their brand. As a graduated English major (and previous Acting Major – that’s a tale for another day), I love sharing stories.  My wheels began turning AGAIN, and I decided that not only could I offer custom illustrations, but I could help local & small businesses share their story through Social Media *lightbulb* A.Crosby Creative was born!
