Responsible for planning, coordinating and updating operational procedures within FacilityServices and ensuring harmonization of processes and services across the City's facilities/regions. Works closely with Area and Portfolio Managers on items such as service standards, client serviceprocesses and determining staff training requirements across all locations, facilities, and regions included in the Facility Operations Service.Key Duties Include:*Guides the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative and consistent programmodels, service delivery and strategies directly related to operations in the Facility Operations*Provides operational content expertise and knowledge for the implementation and evaluation ofconsistent Service-wide standards, practices, processes and training programs*Provides a service area point of contact for initiatives driven by corporate partners, includingCorporate Employee Health, Safety and Wellness, Claims and Insurance and Corporate Security*Coordinates the development and provision of responses to Service-specific program andservice inquiries from Councillors, City staff or members of the public*Works closely with the Director of Facility Operations Services and the management team toestablish strategic management objectives and outcomes consistent with the departmental andcorporate vision*Provides departmental input to Procurement team in Corporate Finance to plan, organize, andmanage Procurement activities related to purchases that will leverage economies of scale for theFacility Operations Service
