In 2012 I took over management of the Information Design Services (IDS) Department. I was a technical manager, still completing all tasks listed under the “Senior Applications Systems Analyst” position below, plus the additional items listed here: - Managed a team of three full-time programmers and one contractor. - Managed the development of 70+ projects per year for multiple clients across the University. To help all on the team understand our budget, I created a comprehensive database and reporting system for my team to utilize. Everyone on the team could review these reports to check their billable vs non-billable time which helped greatly in setting priorities. I met weekly with my programmers to review each project, the project's budget, and our department's budget. We discussed project timelines, clients discussions, and any scope creep identified and documented.
