Pull, package and prepare hospital inpatients medications from omnicell machines and deliver the medications to various omnicells on nursing units within the hospital.Creating IV infusions in a clean room setting using aseptic technique, a process that allows the end medication to be sterile enough for injection into the patient.Unit dosing and batch preparations of sterile and non-sterile medications and/or sterile intravenous and non-intravenous medications.

Process patient prescriptions from electronic and or faxed scripts.Communicate with nursing staff at various long term care facilities in reference to patients prescriptions or patient profile information. Responsible for timely and accurate billing activities, including interactions with third party payers, and patients as well as maintaining accurate records.
