• Oversee the environmental monitoring program. • Trend environmental monitoring data, conduct risk assessments, and CAPAs as necessary in support of cleanroom contamination control. • Perform analyses using various techniques, including established and experimental test methods.• Develop and validate methods for product development, quality control, and environmental monitoring activities. • Introduce new instrumentation, as needed.• Troubleshoot instrumentation, as needed.• Design lab studies and prepare study plans and protocols.• Manage projects from protocol to final report.• Perform laboratory investigations, as needed.• Prepare technical reports based on data from multiple analysts utilizing multiple analytical techniques.• Prepare work instructions, test methods, SOPs, and qualification documentation.• Review data collected by the Quality Control laboratory.• Train laboratory technicians on proper analytical and aseptic technique and instrumental analysis. • Provide leadership for cGMP compliance.• Work independently and as part of a team with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.• Serve as a role model for positive leadership.• Keep current with new analytical and environmental monitoring technology and research/recommend acquisitions where appropriate.• Keep current on updates to all applicable regulatory standards.• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• Develop and validate traditional as well as novel analytical methods for assessment of critical product attributes.• Critically review analytical data to ensure accurate results are reported and draw conclusions to direct future experimentation.• Compile data from multiple sets of experiments and present coherent findings as to how the data reflects product performance and/or stability.• Introduce new analytical techniques/instruments into the analytical laboratory for further product development.• Participate in project meetings as needed by presenting data, explaining trends, or assisting with investigations and/or troubleshooting.• Assist in training laboratory technicians on proper analytical technique and instrumental analysis.• Write technical reports based on laboratory results.• Oversee laboratory safety and waste stream generation.
