I provide tailored learning and development support; developing, designing and delivering learning interventions including with metrics to show value and appropriateness. As the role was new to the business; I was tasked with creating an L&D Culture and strategy within the organisation; starting with the design and implementation of a competency framework. I have created a career journey which takes an employee through a new robust induction, skills training programmes (at operational and management level) through to leadership development programmes. Working to a people plan, I oversee the delivery of training - measuring the effectiveness through KPIs, evaluations and observations and have introduced an LMS system to offer cost effective eLearning to all employees. I work in collaboration with other stakeholders in the design of training interventions which have included extensive product training and launches. I also oversee statutory compliance and training.

Responsible for four regions from Yorkshire/Lancashire to the North of Scotland, working closely with HR Business Partners and Regional Managers, ensuring that all potential was recognized, supported, developed and aligned to the business. I was involved in succession planning, talent management accross the regions and the implementation of new performance competencies. I was also involved in the delivery of national and regional initiatives, undertaking TNA at all levels, design and delivering bespoke material, coaching and mentoring of all management levels. I was also tasked with data cleanse and reporting using the LMS System.

Delivering a training support function across the six hotels in the North of Scotland and to our Cluster Support Team. The hotels vary in size and character, offering anything from Family Friendly experiences, to busy Corporate City Centre locations. The North of Scotland also has three HGVC (time share) resorts. There are approximately 850 team members in the Cluster.The role includes the delivery Leadership Programmes in line with the Cluster Succession plan and supporting the delivery of Job Skills Service Training through Departmental Trainers. The delivery and implementation of Brand Standards and initiatives across the cluster; as well as offering coaching and mentoring where needed. The role also provides training solutions as when required by the business.
