I attended The University of the Sunshine Coast for my tertiary schooling and studied a Bachelor of Business Information Communication Technologies. I tackled classes which required intense technical understanding of modern technologies, these courses only confirmed my passion for IT. My courses consisted of Telecommunications & Networks, Java Programming, CSS and Web Design. During these years I was presented with the opportunity to become an ambassador of USC and undertake my studies overseas in the US for a term. My experience was incredible and I truly believe that global exposure of any kind is essential for a business owner.In June 2011 I was hired by the director of CRT Network Solutions. CRT Network Solutions is a managed IT services company that is heavily situated in the provision of IT support for medical centres, network design and implementation. CRT offers their clients IT support and critical network maintenance, migration of legacy IT systems and advanced on site and offsite network management. In June 2013 I established my business, Podium IT. I realised the need for professional IT support for medical centres and its rarity. My vision is to provide consistent, professional IT support to medical centres across Australia. Since the introduction of information technology a divide exists between all who understand IT and those who don’t, my goal is to bridge that gap. Since then, It has become apparent that the IT world is truly dynamic. The requirement to stay ahead of the game is imperative to be able to offer IT support to small and medium sized businesses in Melbourne. We have had exposure and training now within many fields including cloud networking both offsite and hybrid approaches. Not to mention the latest IT monitoring tools, which are empowering my staff with live data of the health of all of our managed IT nodes.Podium IT has evolved to a source of truth and a brand of trust by its satisfied client base.
