I conducted prudential reviews on, and routine analysis / stress testing of, Australian banks of different sizes and complexities. I was also involved in a range of liquidity risk related thematic review projects, working closely with other APRA teams and regulated entities.

As a bank supervisor, I led supervisory priorities planning, prudential consultations, and risk reviews of supervised entities. I also headed, or was significantly involved in, focussed reviews and industry benchmarking across a range of topics, including developing prudential standards for liquidity and credit risk management; assessing entities' credit rating and provisioning models, stress testing, ICAAP and contingency funding plan; and conducting pre-licensing assessment on new entities.

I helped founded the in-house Toastmasters Club of Bank Negara Malaysia, and was an active member. Subsequently I became the Club President, and led the team to achieve its first “President Distinguished Club” Award (highest Toastmasters club award).

I had a vision of creating a platform which facilitates the integration of youth leaders from Southeast Asia and Australia. Imagine the power of exchanging ideas and networking with some of the most ambitious and brilliant youth leaders, given that these people will be rising to the leadership position in their respective fields and countries in the future!I founded ASCA as the peak representative body for the Southeast-Asian students in Australia, with official endorsement from the ASEAN Secretariat. I also spearhead the Inaugural ASEAN-Australia Youth Leadership Summit, which was officiated by the Australia Ambassador to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat and High Commissioners of Southeast-Asian countries, and attended by 107 Southeast-Asian youth leaders.

I was inspired by the vision of Robogals in encouraging young girls to learn Science and Engineering, and hence I agreed to the role without hesitating, when approached by its founder to lead the funding initiatives for the 7 Robogals branches in Australia and New Zealand, albeit having no engineering background.Working with the team of highly visionary people, I successfully established relationships and secured sponsorship from various organizations in Australia.
