I'm a dedicated Conservation Architect with expertise in preserving and restoring historic structures. I am ARB registered architect and a member of both the RIBA and RIAS. I hold RIBA Conservation Accreditation. To date my professional experience includes working at leading heritage conservation practices. This has honed my core skills in conservation architecture. I am experienced in site investigation, condition reports, feasibility studies, and Heritage Impact Assessments. I am also proficient in software tools, and in the production drawings and specifications specific to heritage projects. I am always seeking opportunities to develop my knowledge particularly in the application of new technologies in the heritage sector. I attended the University of Dundee successfully completing my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Architecture with a focus on adaptive reuse, setting me towards a career in heritage. I received a commendation from Queens University Belfast for the Professional Practice in Architecture PGDip. Additionally, I earned a distinction in the Applied Building Repair and Conservation PGDip from Trinity College Dublin. I continually enhance my skills through regular CPD including IHBC summer schools and attendance at heritage focused events and practical training sessions. I'm now seeking make connections across the heritage sector to develop my own knowledge and practice to benefit my current role at the National trust for Scotland.
