Meeting Expectations is an Association Management Company (AMC) offering professional services, strategic leadership and operational excellence in the areas of membership, conference management, sponsorship development, technology and governance. I manage two professional associations, serving as the Director of Operations for one, and the Executive Director for the other. While both organizations are very different, I am responsible for overseeing all daily operations, as well as developing strategy for the future. Areas of oversight include business development, communications, events, membership marketing, governance, finances/budgeting, strategic plans, and special projects. I also manage and support volunteers, mentor staff, and work to achieve association metrics and goals in accordance with the established ends policies. I also have a specialization in education & certification, and am able to motivate & lead a team remotely.

As the Association Manager for two professional associations, I worked as the Education & Certification Manager. My responsibilities included: - Managing volunteers and committees related to education and credentialing; including regular meetings, policy documents, webinars, etc. - Planning two small scale 4-day events per year at various locations throughout the US. Includes managing all aspects of event management, including room blocks, f&b minimums, speaker management, etc. - Manage two separate certifications, including credit management, helping designation holders determine next steps, responding to member phone calls/emails- Creating e- marketing pieces related to events and education- Producing webinars - Maintaining all required documentation for members to apply for certifications, vetting their qualifications, and keeping track of renewal requirements
