My role at the company was unique in that I was the only employee other than the my supervising Lawyer for a year. I was responsible for my law clerk duties along with administrative duties. My clerk responsibilities included drafting legal documents for real estate transactions; communicating with external parties, preparing letters and memos; working on files beginning to end; booking meetings with client; obtaining and updating client information; preparing invoices and bookkeeping. while my administrative responsibilities included greeting visitors, answering phones, and performing general office duties. I also maintained office supplies and equipment, while ensuring I provided excellent customer service and created a positive work environment.
