Event planning, managing and updating our website and social media channels, and other special projects conclude my major responsibilities.𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺I am the main point of contact for all FARM participants under the Environmental Stewardship silo and launching this program. My main tasks are contacting farmers, producing and conducting surveys, and assisting members in reducing their carbon footprint. I also ensure we are meeting customer sustainability benchmarks on the plant and farm level. Each month I input various data from the plant to calculate our greenhouse gas emissions.𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙄 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴I am the main point of contact for any communication efforts needed for the company. I collaborate with our Management Team, supervisors and others to complete projects as requested.𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺Our FARM Program Manager and I produce content and resources for our farmers. Along with the program manager, I also work with Member Services to connect with farmers and assist where needed.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨I was the main peer advisor who ran the Career and Internship Services social media channels weekly. Along with social media, I also helped edit the office's monthly e-newsletter which was sent out to both students and faculty of the university. I also assisted with planning and executing various career fairs the office put on ever year by updating marketing materials for both employees and students. Other responsibilities included reviewing cover letters and resumes, scheduling appointments with career counselors and performing other miscellaneous office tasks. 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙄 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝Our Employee Relations Coordinator for all career fair and employee needs such as employer information booklets and providing career advice at career fairs. By working with the office's Marketing Specialist, I collaborated on the e-newsletter and social media content. Along with professional staff, I also worked with other peer advisors, especially graphic design peer advisors, to help create handouts for our office.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨I took a big role with the Princess Kay of the Milky Way program by assisting them in various media trainings. Along with working with the girls on that, I had the opportunity to create a video from start to finish which highlighted each finalist and an aspect about dairy and agriculture that was played at the coronation and all 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair. I used Adobe Premiere to create the video along with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create marketing materials to be displayed at the state fair as well. Also helped plan and execute The Dairy Experience Forum, which is a three-day conference for farmers, industry partners and employers to come and learn about the ever so changing dairy community.𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙄 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝I worked with the Agricultural Affairs team members to complete daily tasks as needed and everything dealing with The Dairy Experience Forum. As well as the Agricultural Affairs team, I got to work with the Minnesota Dairy Princess Coordinator to ensure the Princess Kay Finalists were prepared for media interviews. I worked with other Midwest Dairy staff in collaborating with them on various projects as well.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨I set up, video and edited customer testimonial videos that are displayed on the company’s Facebook and YouTube channel. I organized a two-day swine conference in two different locations which included contacting the sites about numbers and food, making sure sponsors and speakers had all the information needed and employees were there on time. Besdies planning videos and events, I also maintained the company's website with weekly postings and upcoming. I also edited blogs written by salesmen and wrote blogs to be posted on the website.𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙄 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝With everything regarding website updates and social media, I worked with the marketing team to ensure the content was ready to be posted and to proof. I worked with the nutritionists and sales teams to find farmers to interview for videos and go on ride alongs. For event planning and other tasks, I worked with the marketing team, customer service team and the leadership team to execute the event to the best of its ability.
