They service mainly the oilfield and construction industries and have been in business since 2011. *I oversaw all aspects of Accounts Payable for the company including reviewing, matching, coding and entering invoices into the accounting software on a daily basis. I prepared weekly check runs for approval, processed and mailed checks to vendors, then scanned and saved all documentation on the network. I maintained our vendor database to ensure all information was correct and up to date, as well as ensured we had W-9’s on file for all vendors. I constantly negotiated with vendors on pricing and discounts in order to save the company money. I also managed more than 70+ loans we had, including setting up the accounts, entering the monthly payments and posting them with the correct principal and interest to the proper GL account. *I also handled all employee credit card accounts and expense reports, including ordering credit cards for new employees, training them on current expense reporting software and procedures, and monitoring and maintaining the Capital One account and card database. I also approved those reports and then prepared usage reports for upper management, as well as entered and reconciled the credit card statements each month. *Purchase orders were also a large part of my job as I would review, approve/deny or edit purchase orders that were submitted by the field, as well as assign the purchase order numbers and maintain a detailed spreadsheet of all purchase orders for 4 different branch offices across Texas. I also created, coordinated and made all purchases for the company in regards to office supplies, business cards, company shirts and cell phones, and any other marketing products.
