o Responsible for conducting investigations following reports of child abuse/neglect by performing unannounced and scheduled home visits to interview parents, children, and family members to assess child safetyo Advise families on community resources, make referrals, and devise realistic safety and treatment plans to improve family well-being and reduce risko Management of up to twelve cases at a time, held accountable for completion of investigations in timely manner in, and responsible for completion of investigative reports in clear and concise mannero Possess the ability to work collaboratively with other agencies such as law enforcement, medical providers, counselors, and school personnelo Experience and ability to work with people of all social, economic, and cultural backgroundso Strong interpersonal skills resulting in exceptional rapport with individuals and the skill to deal courteously, professionally, and tactfully with the public in a variety of situations
