Experience in pediatric through geriatric healthcare. Currently at different facilities throughout Westmoreland and Allegheny County via contract or per diem shifts. Daily practice in delegating tasks, medication administration, vital signs, diabetic monitoring. Daily neurological, integumentary, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal,urinary, and endocrine system assessments. Identify patient risks; and implement interventions, and goals to decrease risks and increase patient safety and health. Provide patient education, call physicians, admissions/discharges/transfers. Add or Update orders in PCC. Experience with enteral feeds ng tube, peg tube, and g tube use and care, insertion of g tube. Experience with IV medication administration, ventilators, tracheostomy, suctioning, Nebulizer treatments, urinary catheterization and care, nephrotomy tube care, jp and Jackson Pratt, wound vacs and other types of wound care. Able to adapt to different work environments. Working agency allows me to work with many different individuals and experience so much ; as most contracts are renewed every 6weeks for a year or more. Other times I may work in a facility for a 4week contract. I possess an adaptable,flexible,team player mentality. Employed with Dedicated Nursing Association, Maxim healthcare.
