Just started as the Head of Programming for Heavy Auto, Souyh Metro TAFE. coordinating and scheduling the training for all apprentices in mobile plant, fixed plant and heavy auto, we look after all the apprentices in the sector for Western Australia.

Created and operationalised the Swan Valley Youth at Risk Hospitality project, collaborating with local employers and job networks (workforce Australia) to screen recruit suitable jobseekers, linking recruitment training job matching and work trials, I offered a bootcamp style work readiness training as well as accredited triaining for 2 groups (hospitality back of house and front of house) targeting the skills employers needed, we job matched suitable jobseekers with their new employer and transitioned them to their career as an apprentice or Trainee utilising the PaTH Internship initaive.I also offered chef apprenticeship training as a contracted provider, target to the current and ermerging needs of industry offering an innovative progressive model.

Providing employability skills to young jobseekers, I created and managed the initiative in WA. Groups of 20 jobseekers would attend short sharp targeted block training learning what jobs they were suitable for and capable of, how to apply for jobs, interviewing practise, and time management skills, along with some target accredited training. This is a Federal Gov initiative, mandatory for jobseekers between the age of 17 to 24 years, and after the training the participants could participate in an internship to improve their chances of securing a job.I took this job as an opportunity to inspire Australian youth to want more for their life, they are in their prime but yet they are "long-term unemployed", if they think its hard to get a job, wait til you are 30 years old with no experience. I ran programs from 4 facilitiesacross the Southern Metro employment region of Perth, with a new program starting every week.
