As the organization grew we brought specialized team members on to oversee the call center, practice operations and the finance team. The need for a traditional HR team grew and I naturally landed there. My job slowly shifted away from overseeing centralized operations to building a Human Resources team that could assist the rapidly growing company. Helped to build the foundation of a successful DSO (Dental Service Organization). Starting at the ground level gave me the opportunity to wear many hats. From call center to, centralized support and eventually a seat at the Executive table to offer support and operational insight. Started in 2011 as a phone agent and worked up into running operations for a call center. Main focus was on scheduling overdue hygiene patients for dental practices all across the country and in Canada. This role really developed my leadership and communication skills.
