Ashley Wilson is a Georgia-based director, screenwriter, producer, and editor. She received a BA in English and a minor in screenwriting from Clemson University as well as an MFA in Dramatic Writing from SCAD. Ashley is best known for her award-winning short films, including "Sins of a Father", "Deceased", and "Sharp Things" (nominated for a Southeast Student Emmy).While her passion is filmmaking, her love for sharing her knowledge extends into her experience as a teacher and tutor. She has over five years of experience as an educator, primarily in courses focusing on grammar, writing, and creative writing. She co-founded the production company Salty Quill Studios with her sister to conduct freelance film work and bring her own scripts to life. Her goal is to bring diverse authenticity to the screen by focusing on relationships and grounded moments. Extensive experience in written analysis, tutoring, teaching, editing, narrative short forms, and screenwriting.
