I am a passionate educator who teaches Fifth Grade Language Arts. In this role, I complete the below expectations. ● Design, create and implement instruction that aligns with the NC Standard Course of Study● Analyze multiple sources of data to drive instruction.● Implement multiple curriculums across subject areas that engage students in collaborative learning.● Design thoughtful and impactful unit plans and daily lessons. ● Attend and lead meetings including PLCS, grade level meetings and PD sessions. ● Developed and continue to implement a positive classroom behavior management plan and create individual behavior plans to support the classroom climate.● Implement Core Knowledge Language Arts resource and adapt lessons to align with the NC Standard Course of Study. ● Collaborate with colleagues across content areas and grade levels. ● Create, revise, administer and grade assessments. ● Collect and analyze informal and formal data to drive classroom instruction. ● Design thoughtful and impactful social studies unit plans and daily lessons. ● Design an online learning platform and adapt lessons to a virtual learning environment.
