I am a graduate of Adler University's Master's Program. I earned my degree in Counseling Psychology. My coursework and experience have prepared me to work with all populations.I have been working as a therapist since 2010. In 2013, I passed my NCMHCE Exam and I have been working as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor -LMHC- in the state of Indiana.I have been privileged to work with clients from 6 years old and up. I prefer working with teens and adults.I focus my practice on the foundation that traumatic events are the gateways to mental health issues.Whether a person is struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, or substance use, I work to address what has occurred in an individual's life that leads them to seek treatment.Using TF-CBT, DBT, MI, and Emotional Intelligence as a guide, I strive to aid in helping my patients to see how their personal story affects their emotions, their decisions, and their view of their world. In treatment, I center on how we can work as a team. The process of therapy is to aid people in creating and growing a stronger sense of themselves, with the ultimate goal of regaining a feeling of control over their lives.
