I spend time on most departments on the shop floor such as CNC lathes, CNC machine centres, Instrumentation, Assembly and Testing, Aftersales, Inspection, Manual Machining and Maintenance. This gave me a good all round knowledge of a shop floor environment and knowledge of the oil industry products we make before fininshing my apprenticeship on the CNC.
