Leading strategic recruitment and engagement efforts to secure hosts across Los Angeles County for participants transitioning from incarceration, ensuring a supportive and inclusive reentry process.Established partnerships with community stakeholders, including reentry and housing providers, faith-based organizations, and local agencies, to create a collaborative support network for hosts and participants. Organized presentations, and information sessions, successfully increasing program visibility and engagement within targeted communities.Expanded the Homecoming Project’s reach in LA, focusing on underserved neighborhoods such as Long Beach, East Los Angeles, and South Los Angeles.

Competitively selected to be a part of the Housing & Houselessness Leadership Network (HHLN) program, a leadership development program for professionals working within and across the diverse and intersectional issues of housing affordability and houselessness services in Los Angeles County. HHLN brings together a diverse cross-sector cohort of professionals for an immersive experiential program committed to building the leadership capacity of Los Angeles County’s housing and houselessness change makers. From February until May, I'll be focused on building my leadership skills, systems-based knowledge, and issue-centered networks and exposing myself to cross-sectoral and intersectional perspectives on housing and houselessness issues and policy. The curriculum includes a wide range of professional skills-building, such as Adaptive Leadership; DEIB and Anti-Racism; Effective Communication and Advocacy; Effective Inquiry and Critical Thinking; Human Centered Design; Interpersonal Leadership Styles; Managing Diverse Teams; Negotiations; Project Management Tools; Public Narrative Frameworks; Self-Awareness and Self-Management Tools; and Stakeholder Analysis and Coalition Building. Currently directing and accounting for several rental assistance programs, spearheaded 1 older adult financial assistance program, and several more client based programs. Staff development and inclusion.
