•Participate in interactive discussions with employees in compliance with ADA, FMLA, CFRA and support the Workers Compensation Program through Sedgwick for San Diego County, LA County and Inland Empire regions.• Onboard new hires for La Mirada and Corona locations and provide orientation including their I-9, hiring forms, and training in Workday for over 80 new employees.• Maintain personnel documentation relating to activities in staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and disciplinary actions for over 242 employees. • Coordinated weekly staffing calls, via Teams to discuss recruitment and business needs by partnering with the recruiter team, to meet staffing needs, and generate system reports for department leaders.• Supports operations with the administration of the collective bargaining agreement(s) for both transportation and warehouse unions. • Audit all associates for training compliance. • Participate in the SoCal Diversity and Inclusion team as an ambassador for the Corona market, we conducted monthly events and local community services for the Inland Empire/Riverside region. • Shadow HR Generalist in conducting employee relations events such as: investigation interviews, performance improvement plans, employee discipline according to CBA and employee handbook. • Conduct exit interviews and process associated paperwork as necessary and escalated relevant information to the correct manager.• Collaborate with the Area HR Business Partner, VPO and Management to develop programs and processes that promote a positive work environment. Conducted proactive employee relations activities such as Distribution Center structured feedback sessions and employee recognition programs.• Traveled to provide general administrative support to the Area Human Resources Business Partner and HR Generalists in all 3 SoCal divisions Vista, SD., La Mirada, LA., and Corona .
