Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is an automotive manufacturing facility with a JIT environment. We produce the Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV, GLS SUV, GLE Coupe, and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS vehicles while also meeting an environmentally conscious zero landfill goal and maintaining social responsibilities. Today, I work in a supporting role for the VP of Engineering.Just prior to my current role, I supported the VP of Engineering and Maintenance for 7 years, who was also the Region 3 Chairperson for the Alabama Workforce Development Council. Prior to this, I was the administrative assistant to 3 Senior Managers while also supporting any administrative needs of Engineering and Maintenance Team Members.From 2003- 2004, I worked in Production on the Assembly Trim 1 line and in Assembly 2 as a 251 Skills Multiplier. From 2004- 2008, I worked in Quality as a 'Loop 2' on-line Quality Control team member until departing for a change to more administrative opportunities.

Started in 1998 as an Assembly Production worker before transferring to the Service and Parts Warehouse as a forklift driver, part pre-assemblies team member, packaging and shipping coordinator, and Service Parts revision level controller. Moved to the Quality Department as the team’s Administrative Assistant before promoting to the plant Business Operating Systems Coordinator.
