The BHMG HR Department merged with the Baptist Health Lexington hospital HR department. While I still support the Medical Group, I was integrated into the hospital and my role evolved to include greater focus on Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, and Retention. I facilitate the bi-weekly new hire orientation, as well as coordinate clinical rotations and conduct student orientations. Most of my time is spent managing employee relations concerns and investigations (bullying, harassment, disciplinary actions for misconduct, policy violation or attendance, up to and including termination) as well as organizing employee engagement activities. I have developed, implemented and manage the monthly Employee Recognition Program for Baptist Health Medical Group as well as the Organizational Values program: Living Values that was launched to both BHMG and Hospital facilities in Lexington, Richmond & Corbin markets. I am currently working with a team to streamline our retention efforts to reduce turnover and reboot our offboarding process. To me, human resources is very much so about the people and I take great pride in the work I am able to provide within this organization.

MESA Medical Group provides emergency medicine and hospital medicine management services to hospitals in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia. MESA was founded by Dr. James Foster and Dr. John Mullins, two experienced physicians that saw a clear opportunity to change the landscape of medical provider career enhancement, while also delivering a new standard of services for the success of hospitals. Now, more than a decade later, their vision has positioned MESA Medical Group as the industry leader for hospital services and provider advancement, with the size and stability to manage contracts across the region with unmatched success. My role at MESA was to maintain solid relationships with our physicians and advanced practice providers to handle all of their needs. As the company significantly expanded in the last several years, there was an increasing need for development of several internal operations processes. I developed and oversaw the provider onboarding process as well as off boarding. I managed the Concierge Program, a customer service based hotline for our providers when they need assistance with scheduling, payroll, benefits, etc. I coordinated satisfaction efforts, facility transfers, resignation negotiations and retention efforts, etc. I also organized all employee relations events such as leadership development training, team building activities, and customer service training seminars. Needless to say I was involved in multiple aspects of the company which aided in improving my organization and interpersonal skills.

Founded in 1902, AAA offers a variety of membership types and levels to meet your motoring needs. We also offer a full-service leisure travel agency, full-service personal lines insurance agency, financial services, retail travel supply store (luggage, maps, books, electrical converters, etc.), full-service corporate travel agency, full-service commercial insurance agency, tire and automotive service retail stores . . . .The list goes on! I developed and implemented the Corporate Health & Wellness plan for AAA's offices in 7 states. The plan was packed with monthly themes and events to go along to benefit the employees and encourage a healthier lifestyle. I conducted interviews for the Member Services Department and lead orientation for all new hires, including all of the pre-emplyment screening and preparation. I oversaw the partnership for the gym membership with Urban Active as I handled employee enrollments and cancellations of memberships in addition to the monthly billing transactions. I also produced a monthly newsletter for several AAA markets. I was involved in employee benefit enrollment, annual reviews, policy implementation and improvement, and general HR duties.
