Ashley is an engaged software development manager with over eight years of experience developing, testing, and documenting in house application development. In her current role,she manages a team of 6 developers. With an understanding of the company architecture between several teams, Ashley is able to help her team develop new features, tackle tech debt, and modernize infrastructure. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and is currently studying for a professional level AWS Certification. After a successful hackathon in 2019, Ashley went on to develop 365’s first group development internship which improved code quality and documentation, as well as gave back to the community. She believes that a stable and rigorous pipeline from internship to junior developer is the first step to solving the industries need for more senior software developers. This has led to a second and third iteration of this internship, and two even bigger hackathons. These hackathons also included an internal technical summit that shared knowledge between cross teams by encouraging team members to present on technology they were working on or completed. All of these were orchestrated and executed by Ashley.A forward thinking, self starting individual- looking to help develop the software development industry. Michigan native, experienced in full stack development. Experience in Kotlin API development, with a focus on RESTful and CRUD design. Experience in Kotlin, Java, ABAP, and Groovy based Web Dev. Light experience in Python and JS. Above all, a learner without hesitation to jump into a new tool set and figure it out.
