Success today as a biomedical technician requires more than just the standard credentials. It requires meaningful experience with world class organizations, not just here locally, but from around the world.Throughout my career, I have worked as a biomedical technician and currently as a field service engineer. I have served in the U.S. Army, both here in the United States and abroad. I have been recognized as a top performer many times while on active duty. I have been awarded the Army Commendation Medal (twice), the Army Achievement Medal, and the Army Good Conduct Medal, to name a few. I also have served two tours overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn, with a total of 25 months deployed in Iraq. A new position of biomedical equipment technician level three was created as a direct result of my employment in my previous position as an in-house technician. As a direct result of these experiences, I have acquired strong interpersonal dexterity, superior communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities. My experiences have enabled me to develop traits that have made me successful facing the challenges of a career in the medical services industry.I believe these traits, skills, and abilities are an asset to teamwork.
