Responsible for managing and growing all categories of Kmart.com footwear. Worked with inventory planner to manage online open to buy for all four footwear departments. Planned and executed compelling vertical creative and promotional messaging in order to drive sales and conversion. Collaborated with brick and mortar buyers in order to find areas of opportunity to add exclusive colorways/sizes/styles to the site.

Partnered with the buyer in all aspects of the business including assortment planning, line building, vendor communication and negotiation, and marketing planning. Responsible for managing a portion of the buyer's business to meet sales, margin and inventory goals. Analyzed sales and made recommendations to drive the business.

Played an integral role in the expansion of Sears.com footwear by working cross functionally to build over 10,000 skus for the site. Responsible for the Men's portion of the buyer's business. Sought out, approached, and set up new vendors and new brands. Candidated items for the Footwear landing page, ensuring weekly Men's exposure.

Completed an extensive six month training program that allowed cross functional training and education combined with experience on a merchant team as acting assistant buyer. Participated in the execution of a new business model that brought Kmart footwear in house to improve profitability.
