I was the Program Director for KPMG's Energise Start-up Accelerator program in January 2016 and oversaw the evolution and expansion of the program as it prepared for its second year intake. The Energise Accelerator team have subsequently gone and to deliver a number of highly successful accelerator programs for the Mining and Energy Resources sectors including Energise 2.0 (2016/17), Igniting METS (2019) and RISE (2019).A three-month intensive program for start-ups, Energise was designed to promote innovation and collaboration across the sector by taking the best start-ups/early-stage tech companies and connecting them with some of Australia’s leading Mining and Energy Resources companies.In my capacity as Energise Program Director, I was responsible for leading the KPMG Energise Program team in all aspects of the design and execution of the program including start-up and corporate curriculum design, corporate client engagement, industry partner / mentor / collaborator relationship management and program evaluation.

I joined KPMG following the acquisition of Momentum Partners to form KPMG's Mining Operations Practice. My primary focus was on growing KPMG's delivery of strategy & operational consulting services into the mining sector, building upon the firms' strengths as a leading accounting, tax and advisory services provider to major organisations in the industry.

I led KPMG's Innovation, Digital and Data practice in Perth and was a member of the national leadership team for KPMG Innovate, the innovation consulting arm of the firm. I played a key role in supporting the KPMG Innovate practice nationally, in both client engagement delivery and practice development, and led the firms' corporate startup and scale-up accelerator program portfolio.The KPMG Innovation Consulting practice, which I jointly led nationally, subsequently transitioned into KPMG's Management Consulting division, as a key practice area within KPMG Digital Delta.

I was a Principal at Momentum Partners, prior to KPMG's acquisition of the firm. Momentum Partners was one of Australia's leading boutique management consultancy firms delivering strategy and operational improvement services to the mining, oil & gas, utilities, government and consumer business sectors.As a member of the senior leadership team, I managed a number of key client accounts as well as leading the delivery of consulting engagements in the areas of Corporate Strategy, Innovation Management and Business Transformation for a number of the firms' strategic clients.

I was a Principal in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy and Operations practice focused on Corporate Strategy, Business Transformation, Merger Integration Strategy & Execution, Organisational Restructuring and Operational Improvement. I held the role of Deloitte's Lead Client Service Director for a number of large, strategic accounts in the Energy and Resources sector.During my time with Deloitte, I was the leader of Deloitte's Innovation Program in the Brisbane market and oversaw Deloitte's contributions to the Brisbane Innovation Scorecard initiative. I also played a key role in consulting capability development, leading a number of Deloitte's training programs and was a highly sought-after counsellor and mentor for consulting practitioners.I joined Deloitte's Management Solutions practice as a Senior Consultant in April 2001 and held various roles within the Consulting practice during my time at Deloitte including Manager and Director.
