Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Current- Lead Fault Isolation Manual (FIM) author for all out of production Boeing aircraft (747, 757, 727, MD-80, MD-11, etc.). - Responsible for developing new and improving existing troubleshooting procedures with the intent of providing airlines fast and effective methods of isolating and correcting equipment faults and failures. - Review and respond to airline and MRO inquiries about troubleshooting, fleet trends, and requests for manual changes. - Evaluate engineering changes for their impact to existing documents and update documents in accordance with those changes.- Preform quality checks on other authors work prior to publishing to ensure the best first pass quality and identify areas where better quality can be achieved by improved processes and procedures. - Coordinate with other teams to ensure the customer receives a cohesive and high-quality set of manuals that support smooth and reliable operation of Boeing commercial aircraft.
