Ashley has been teaching freediving with her husband, Ren, in NC and throughout the Caribbean from their sailboat since 2009.  They spend most summers back home in NC where courses include tips on safety, technique, spearfishing and diving with sharks!   Winter and spring months are spent abroad focusing instruction in the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Roatan Honduras and the Florida Keys.  Ashley has earned 3 world records and 10 national records in the sport to date focusing on arguably the purest and most challenging discipline, constant weight no fins. She has swam down to 67 meters/223 feet on one breath of air without fins or assistance from pulling a line. Her deepest dive maxes out at 87 meters/285 feet with the use of a monofin! Ashley has a breathold of 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
