As a dedicated medical sonographer with over seven years of experience in the field, I’ve had the privilege of taking on various leadership roles that have allowed me to contribute both to clinical operations and to academia. In my role as a Charge Medical Sonographer, I not only led clinical operations but also made significant contributions to the academic world. I served as an ultrasound tutor, where I developed a comprehensive physics guide packet that significantly improved student pass rates. Additionally, I acted as a student liaison at ECU Health for Pitt Community College ultrasound students, providing guidance and support to aspiring sonographers.I also had the opportunity to serve as a Lead Vascular Technologist and Technical Director for a vascular lab. In this role, I improved vascular protocols for radiologists and ensured that the vascular workflow ran smoothly during operations. My passion lies in enhancing both the educational and operational aspects of ultrasound. I currently serve as an ultrasound coordinator at UNC REX, where I continue to improve patient outcomes and ultrasound operations.
