I have worked in both local and national media for more than 20 years, and my editorial and management experience has been in both digital and print formats. I am currently the Managing Editor of Flywheel Publishing.Previous positions I've held include Editorial Director at StyleBlueprint, Senior Digital Content Strategist, Digital Editor/Multimedia Content Producer, Founding Editor/Editor-in-Chief of Her Nashville magazine, and managing editor of Nashville, Williamson and Rutherford Parent magazines. In 2009, I authored Historic Photos of Nashville in the 50s, 60s, and 70s for Turner Publishing, which entailed doing extensive research and fact-checking for more than 200 historic photos from Nashville, Tennessee in the mid-20th Century as well as creating context for each of the images. Throughout my career, I have freelanced for a variety of clients doing everything from company re-branding and marketing strategy to writing web copy and press releases.My experience covers most aspects of media, branding, and content strategy. I enjoy helping people think outside the box and see the true potential that a well-thought-out strategy can mean for their business or brand.
