In February of 2018 I was selected to work on a planning committee for JWU's Annual Wildcat Wahoo Carnival. My job as novelties coordinator was to create and execute a plan that would provide enough novelties for 3,000+ students on the day of the carnival. Through this experience I was able to apply my advanced skill set of communication, time management, problem solving, and leadership which helped me to build strong working relationships with vendors and allowed me to successfully lead a team of 30 volunteers on the day of the event.

In September of 2017, I began working as part of the event staff for JWU Athletics Game Operations. With different home games taking place each week I am always learning something new about the way events are executed. With each JWU home game I am working with a team of students to efficiently and safely set up, execute operations, and break down each athletic event. As a team we are continuously communicating with one another to be certain that all operations are running smoothly.While working as part of Game Operations I have had the opportunity to assist in the first ever NCAA tournament to be hosted by Johnson & Wales University, gained experience by working numerous GNAC tournaments for volleyball, and assist in the execution of the annual JWU Hockey at the Dunk game.
