My practice involves litigation and default portfolio management for mortgage lenders and servicers. Historically, I have focused on legal and regulatory compliance matters that affect lenders and lending-adjacent businesses. I draft customized--- or evaluate existing---policies, procedures, vendor contracts, document templates, advertising, disclosures, and business arrangements to ensure compliance with state and federal law. I provide assistance with regulatory audits, CID's, customer complaints, corporate governance, vendor management, and due diligence. I defend corporate clients against contract and consumer claims in state and federal court as well as handle escalated litigation of foreclosures and title matters.

My practice involves litigation, compliance and regulatory matters involving banks, credit unions, credit card issuers, product distributors, debt buyers, mortgage servicers, hard money lenders, and small businesses. I represent businesses in commercial litigation in state and federal courts and advise depository institutions and their affiliates, mortgage companies, sales finance companies, brokers and non-bank lenders on federal and state consumer and commercial finance, and licensing issues.

I represented the Firm and our individual attorneys in defensive litigation and provided legal oversight to our Audit, Training, Compliance, Scorecard, and Quality Control teams.I provided compliance advisement with respect to interpretation of federal regulations affecting mortgage servicers and their third party providers. Internally, I ensured that there are effective controls, policies, and procedures in place for attorneys and staff. Previously, I was responsible for relationship development and portfolio management for several of our clients. Prior to that, I supervised the Tampa-Area trial attorneys.
