Over the past decade, I have had an incredibly successful career, which has allowed me to accomplish remarkable milestones, and exceed expectations in my chosen field. Nevertheless, I have now decided to take a short career break to assess my next steps. This break allows me the invaluable opportunity to reflect on my passions, skills, and aspirations, ensuring that my next endeavor best aligns with my personal and professional goals. During my time at Prindle, my work product has been highly valued by both the partners at the firm and their clients. I work with business leaders to identify and understand business needs. As a result of my legal, customer service, and empathy skills, I primarily assess the needs of large corporate clients that generate significant financial revenue for our law firm. This includes strategizing and communicating with stakeholders to resolve cases, claims, and other liabilities as efficiently as possible, and working with our clients to develop plans for success.My extensive litigation experience and empathy skills helped me connect with clients. These connections allowed me to successfully counsel and advise clients regarding the best legal courses of actions and to direct them towards favorable resolutions, thereby eliminating the need for expensive and excessive litigation. The resolution of cases in a timely manner saved clients’ money and therefore increased their satisfaction with the firm and grew the firm’s reputation.

From Acker & Whipple, I was recruited from my position at my previous firm to work at Wilson Elser, a large, national law firm, where I was a trusted, senior level associate. At Wilson Elser, I led highly sensitive, complex legal projects from implementation to conclusion within strict timeframes and deadlines. I was responsible for the analysis of evidence and strategizing cases to determine all potential foreseeable outcomes. As a “subject matter expert” and point person, I was able to teach and counsel our clients, including the Fortune 500 executives, answer their questions, assess their needs, and address their concerns. I oversaw the drafting of all legal documents requiring submission to the court and other parties. The combination of thorough preparation and meticulous attention to detail ensured positive resolutions for our clients.By successfully analyzing our client’s cases and developing creative solutions to complex legal issues, I educated the stakeholders on the facts at hand, and also helped them gain a pulse on the client’s ever evolving need states. With this in hand, we were able to create and develop strategic action plans allowing us to litigate or settle cases in a successful, timely and efficient manner. These actions resulted in large monetary damage awards for our client customers and significant profits for Wlison Elser.The most rewarding aspect of this position was the opportunity to assist a woman adopt her two biological brothers out of foster care.

As a mid-level associate at Acker & Whipple, I was responsible for handling the litigation for multiple trucking companies. Here, I was able to strengthen my communication, problem-solving, and general people skills. I worked with the firm’s partners to create strategies to handle all aspects of my cases from inception through settlement, which included the preparation of legal documents, reports, and memorandum for submission to the handling partners, courts, clients and opposing counsel and working with the handling partners, clients, and opposing counsel to strategize the resolution of our clients’ litigated and non-litigated claims whenever possible. I was then recruited from Acker & Whipple to work at Wilson Elser in 2019.

In my time at Fitzpatrick & Hunt, I was responsible for organizing and gathering evidence, preparing motions and pleadings, and reviewing documents to assist the managing partners in the defense of aviation related litigation. In August 2017, I was recruited to work at Acker & Whipple.

From MLG Automotive Law I went on to work at Skane Wilcox, where I assisted the lead counsel in the defense of construction defect cases. I successfully settled numerous construction defect cases in both mediation and settlement conference settings. After two years at this small insurance defense firm, I was recruited to work at Fitzpatrick & Hunt, a mid-size firm.

This was my first job after law school and it was a great learning experience. At this firm, I effectively managed a load of various cases including breach of contract, premises liability, personal injury, and workers compensation cases. I worked directly with clients and was able to settle cases, both with and without mediation. In addition to my litigation work, I drafted settlement agreements and sales and service contracts for various business clients. Despite the various opportunities this position afforded me, I felt that the defense side of litigation was a better fit.
