From Acker & Whipple, I was recruited from my position at my previous firm to work at Wilson Elser, a large, national law firm, where I was a trusted, senior level associate. At Wilson Elser, I led highly sensitive, complex legal projects from implementation to conclusion within strict timeframes and deadlines. I was responsible for the analysis of evidence and strategizing cases to determine all potential foreseeable outcomes. As a mid-level associate at Acker & Whipple, I was responsible for handling the litigation for multiple trucking companies. Here, I was able to strengthen my communication, problem-solving, and general people skills. I worked with the firm’s partners to create strategies to handle all aspects of my cases from inception through settlement, which included the preparation of legal documents, reports, and memorandum for submission to the handling partners, courts, clients and opposing counsel and working with the handling partners, clients, and opposing counsel to strategize the resolution of our clients’ litigated and non-litigated claims whenever possible.
