Worked at The Sentinel Newspaper since 2014 (formerly ad sales executive, see below). Was the right hand man of the Advertising Operations Supervisor. Responsible for any and all tasks needed for the implementation and production of the paper, as well as our online marketing services (SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, website maintenance) from within the advertising department. My position included heavy 10-key numeric entry in the WAUSAU RPS finance program, mail opening with OPEX opening machines, alpha-numeric data entry in Excel and Access, quality checking of material to be sent to our clients, and cash handling and counting. Was promoted from a level 1 to a level 3 less than a year from hire date. Promotion included operating the NCR mail sorter, reviewing and re-processing items rejected from the RPS system, and training new mail openers on policies and methods for one of our large charity clients.
